NASC teams, to register your team, email me (m.montero415@gmail.com) with the name of the team, coach contact info, number of players, and picking a day Friday 7:30 pm or Sunday 4:00 pm.
Individual players 6-12 years old, to register, pick a day that works for your family (Friday 6:30 pm, Sunday 3pm, or both), and register your son. Registration instructions are at the bottom of the page, please fill in all the info that is asked for.
MS & HS kids, a two hour session Fridays at 8:30. On Sunday at 6-8pm we’ll have an in-house tournament!
Description
A condensed version of football where the field, goals, and even the ball is smaller. With smaller fields, it puts more emphasis on technique and footwork, and less on strength and physicality.
The emphasis of this program is for kids to improve their technique. Small areas and lower numbers lead to more touches on the ball, and immediate feedback for the player (losing ball/beating defender), creating more 1v1s and scoring opportunities.
Kids will do a technical warm-up to start the session, then will be given the freedom to try new things, and express themselves with the ball in the second half of the session during the game.

Montero Soccer shirts $25
If you do not have a blue Montero Soccer shirt, please let me know your child’s size and I will have them by the first or second session.
If you have a Montero Soccer Shirt, wear it to practice with black shorts, and black sox. Indoor or tennis shoes required. No cleats allowed in the gym.
